With over 300 signposted hiking trails, challenging climbing routes on Lake Gosau, countless mountain bike routes, 160 kilometers of ski slopes and 40 kilometers of cross-country ski trails, Gosau offers a varied range of unforgettable experiences in nature all year round.

UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage
In the Salzkammergut, over 70 impressive lakes are waiting to be discovered – in the valley and high up on the mountain.
With their excellent drinking water quality, they are ideal for swimming , snorkeling, diving and relaxing.
There are numerous water sports available for adventurous days. The mountains also offer numerous opportunities to cool off: explore them while hiking , cycling or using cable cars. Climbers will get their money's worth on exciting via ferratas and challenging routes.
Winter
Ski Region Dachstein West
The free ski bus takes you directly from your accommodation to the Dachstein West ski region in just a few minutes. Here you will find perfectly groomed slopes, family-friendly children's areas, fun slopes and fun parks on over 160 kilometers of slopes . Experience the Panoronda, a 44-kilometer-long ski tour with a breathtaking view of the Dachstein.
For freeride fans, the Freesports Arena Dachstein Krippenstein offers more than 30 kilometers of powder slopes and
1,500 meters difference in altitude – recognized as a hotspot of the freerider scene.
